The problem in a dent is the metal, not the paint. The technician gets behind the panel, or [CONFIRM: glues a pulling tab to the outside where there’s no access]. Then they move the metal back in tiny steps, and watch how light reflects across the surface as the dent shrinks.

There’s no filler, no sanding and no paint. The factory paint stays where it is, so there’s no colour matching to get wrong.

When we use traditional dent repair

If the paint has cracked, or the panel has been filled before, paintless repair can’t help. Then we reshape the panel, fill it, sand it, prime it, paint it and blend the new paint into the old.
